In the event additional time is necessary to retrieve the public record and conduct any essential review, an extension may be granted within a reasonable timeframe, not exceeding 30 days from the date of the initial request. It's important to note that Calvert County Emergency Communications retains records for one year following the incident, after which they are systematically destroyed.
