42. General Information

    $20.00 for cats and dogs that are not spayed or neutered. 

    Licenses must be obtained annually. All dogs and cats in Calvert County five months of age or older shall be licensed. Within 30 days after any dog or cat over the age of five months is adopted, acquired or brought into the County, its owner shall obtain a license. (7-4-101 of the Calvert County Code)

44. The Following Information Must be Submitted with this Application
    • Copy of valid rabies vaccination certificate
    • Payment made online or by check or money order made payable to “Calvert County” in the appropriate amount. Cash and credit card may be accepted depending on location of purchase. Check or money order is required if submitting payment through the mail.   

    In-person payment:
    Calvert County Animal Services allows walk-in customers and accepts cash, check, and major credit cards.  Please bring your payment or mail a check or money order to:
