Step into the Past: The Louis Goldstein Office

Saturday, February 28, 2026

Interactive tour of Calvert County native and former Maryland Comptroller Louis L. Goldstein's recreated Annapolis office. Explore decades of Maryland history and artifacts and learn more about our longest serving state elected official. This tour is supported by the Maryland 250 Commission.

Louis L. Goldstein served in Maryland State Government from 1939 through 1998, which included 10 terms as Comptroller. At the time of his death, he was believed to be the longest-serving elected state official in U.S. History. This gregarious public servant’s office has been relocated to the Visitor Center, along with artifacts, photographs, and information on his political career.
