Join us for Solomons Annual Christmas Walk! Lots of free things to do for the kids!

Morning / Early Afternoon

• 11 a.m.–noon: Tuba Christmas will hold its rehearsal at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
• 1 p.m.: Tuba Christmas will present a performance at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.

3 p.m. Hour

• 3–4 p.m.: A Chocolate and Wine Pairing will take place at No Thyme to Cook.
• 3–8 p.m.: The Ice Cream Place at Bunky’s will offer free cookie decorating and specialty treats.
• 3:30–8:30 p.m.: No Thyme to Cook will host a Christmas Village featuring vendors, food and free hot chocolate.

4 p.m. — Major Event Start

• 4–9 p.m.: Solomons Mission Center will offer free Santa photos, including tinsel hair, free face painting and letters to Santa.
• 4–8 p.m.: Emily Cunningham’s State Farm at 14532 Solomons Island Road South will offer free balloon art.
• 4–5:30 p.m.: The Patuxent High School Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Solomons Gazebo.
• 4–8 p.m.: The Joy Crew will present dog shows on the front lawn of Our Lady Star of the Sea.
• 4–8:30 p.m.: No Thyme to Cook will host a free Boat Parade Watch Party and Open Deck.
• 4–8:30 p.m.: No Thyme to Cook will host a ticketed Holiday Walk and Watch Party on the Open Deck.
• 4–9 p.m.: A vendor fair will take place across from Our Lady Star of the Sea and along the boardwalk.
• 4–9 p.m.: The Solomons Victorian Inn will hold an open house with refreshments.
• 4–9 p.m.: The Ice Cream Place at Bunky’s will host a free petting zoo in its parking lot.
• 4–8:30/9 p.m.: The Ice Cream Place at Bunky’s will offer henna tattoos for a fee.
• 4–8:30/9 p.m.: Southern Maryland Veteran Farmers, including Lazy I Herd and Fossil Hill Farms, will present story time and give away free eggs near the Coney Island Ice Cream and playground area.
• 4–9 p.m.: McNelis & Associates of Berkshire Hathaway PenFed Realty will serve hot cocoa and host informal business conversations with Fountainhead Wealth Advisors, Darren Rickwood of First Home Mortgage, Chris Weller, and Oak Point Insurance.

5–6 p.m. Hour

• 5–7 p.m.: Simply Social Event Company will offer free pictures with princesses.
• 5–8 p.m.: Simply Social and Hooked Crafts Apparel will host a Christmas market.
• 5:30–6 p.m.: Mystic Caravan Dancers will perform at the Solomons Gazebo.
• 5:30 p.m.: The Southern Maryland Sailing Association will hold an open house and kids’ boat-building activity.

6–7 p.m. Hour

• 6–6:15 p.m.: Gracie’s Guys & Gals will perform at the Solomons Gazebo.
• 6:15–7 p.m.: A street parade will proceed along the main route on Solomons Island Road.

6:30–8:30/9 p.m. — Lighted Boat Parade

• 6:30–8:30/9 p.m.: The Lighted Boat Parade will take place along the Solomons boardwalk, beginning at Molly’s Leg and passing viewing areas including No Thyme to Cook’s Open Deck, Trifecta, The Lighthouse Restaurant and Dock Bar, Bugeye Grill, The Pier Restaurant, the Solomons Victorian Inn, and other waterfront locations.

After 6:30 p.m.

• 6:30–7:30 p.m.: Christmas stories will be shared in the Providence Room at Our Lady Star of the Sea.
• 6:30–8:30 p.m.: A living nativity with free hot chocolate will take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea.
• 7–8 p.m.: Ornament-making for Asbury residents will take place in the Providence Room at Our Lady Star of the Sea.
• 7:15–7:30 p.m.: The Patuxent High School Cheer Squad will perform at the Solomons Gazebo.
• 7:30–8:30 p.m.: Caroling and a community singalong will be held at the Solomons Gazebo.
