International Year of the Woman Farmer - 2026

Calvert Ag proudly supports the International Year of the Woman Farmer and is celebrating the vital role women play in agriculture!

The United Nations designated 2026 as the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF 2026). Throughout 2026, Calvert Ag will highlight Calvert County’s women farmers, foresters and water women who help sustain the land and waterways while strengthening the local economy and community.

This campaign will bring awareness to their support for, and involvement in, the community. Be sure to check back throughout the year to learn about other women leaders, innovators and stewards of Calvert County.
