This project includes the design and construction of a new County Administration office building to consolidate most county government departments and services into one central location. The project includes the demolition of the County Services Plaza building, to be replaced with a 113,295 square-foot four-story building.
This building will consolidate all county employees from multiple locations, including the County Services Plaza, Courthouse Annex, Albright Building, 131 Main Street, 30 Duke Street and the Circuit Courthouse.
As of the fiscal year 2022 Capital Improvement Plan, the total projected cost is approximately $35.7 million. The major source of funding is general obligation bonds.
